The decoratively patterned textiles of the Thailand’s original northern Lan Na kingdom inspired this natural and textured collection of tapes, cords, and fringes. Dry linen and cotton yarns are woven in classic patterns inspired by the patterned sarongs and robes of the Lan Na culture. Subtle ikat effects, vegetable-dyed hues, dip-dyeing and hand painting add to the craft and richness of these trimmings, which beautifully complement a wide range of natural linen, cotton and Thai silk fabrics.
